The year started with a rush of activity in the SUBStitution office, with February issues of journals, magazines and newsletters due on the press in mid-January. On the bright side, this means that even this early in the year, two exciting major projects are being launched this month.
The first is the 2010 Australian Dairy Listing, which SUBStitution produces for the Dairy Industry Association of Australia (DIAA). The Listing is a sought-after industry directory now in its third
edition. Its production involved updating contact details for more than 1500 companies, selling advertising, layout, print management and distribution.
The Listing has also been integrated into the new DIAA website - SUBStitution's second major project for the year. The new website, to be launched in mid-February, brings together many complex elements, such as a comprehensive membership and subscriber management, Buy & Sell board, banner advertising, discussion board and multiple levels of log-ins and user authorisation. SUBStitution has been involved in the project from the initial scoping, so it's very exciting to see it being launched - on time and on budget!
